Once Upon A Mattress is a 7 week intensive for students aged 13 - 18.

Online registration form is on Home Page of Bravo website under Get Invloved. Registration will close once class fills with 40 students. Auditions from within class for principal roles and solos are early May.

Students will meet May/June at the Bravo rehearsal facility in the Grassland area of Franklin (2227 Hillsboro Road) to learn and rehearse the two hour  musical. Learning will culminate with 2 performances for the public at the FSD Performing Arts Center.

Show Synopsis:

Many moons ago in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride.

Princesses come from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none can pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen. That is, until the swamp princess, Winnifred, shows up! If Winnifred can pass the Queen's ultimate Sensitivity Test, she can marry Prince Dauntless and help all the Lords and Ladies of the kingdom to the alter.

This musical comedy is a hilarious tweaking of Hans Christian Anderson's "The Princess and the Pea."
